About

Didja ever take a trip somewhere with people you didn’t know very well, and totally regretted it?  Tiresome bores, over-analyzing everything, blind to all that’s new around them.  Just more blah blah blah, yada yada yada.  And nothing new to say.  Nothing original.  Nothing off-the-wall.  Predictable PCers as self-righteous as the SNL Church Lady.  Gag.

Didja ever take a trip somewhere with people you knew really well, and one of them reveals herself to be a total ass?  Me me me.  I want to do this.  I hate that.  I won’t take the bus.  I won’t ride a train.  I’m too good for public transportation.  I need ice cubes in my Coke or I’ll spit it all over you.  Once again, blind to all that’s wonderful around them.  Petty.  Yuck.

Well, then there are those magical times when you go somewhere with just the right people.  They don’t think of themselves as perfect.  They don’t have to have everything scheduled down to the last minute.  They don’t mind turning a 5-star hotel room into a dorm room with six bottles of vodka.  Sure, you have your moments.  But you get over them.  Why?  Because you all like to laugh.  You like to do something different.  You don’t think that everyone has to be just like you.  And you are up for adventure.  Not climbing K2, but trying a different restaurant.  Talking to people around you.  Playing silly jokes on each other.  Learning about a new place from new people, and appreciating the fact that you aren’t just doing the same old same old all the time.

So that’s what this blog is all about.  It’s about 4 people who traveled together and had an outrageously good time.  Four people who are quite different from one another, and who are ok with that.  Funny as shit.  Silly.  But at heart as kind and gentle as Edward Scissorhand. Or Ed Wood.  You know, one of those freaky people that’s like super nice and look a lot like Johnny Depp.  Beat of a different drummer, and all that kind of shit.  Chronic.

Anyway, we’re keeping up with the bad behavior and overall hilarity.  Screw regular life.  That’s for 9-5.  Or 10-2.  There, that sounds better.

Hope you visit us often and realize that we really aren’t such bad people, despite the psycopathic babble of Blaine Chowder.  He’s harmless.  Really.
